Nestled in idyllic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Free Will Brewing Co. opened in early 2012, and has established itself as a full production brewery, with a diverse portfolio of clean, sour, spontaneous, and mixed fermentation beers. Free Will has over 35,000sqft of production space, with nearly half dedicated solely to the production of sours, saisons, and wild ales, in the subterranean Sour Cellar. While the upstairs production space boasts lots of sultry stainless and pumps out solid beers such as Kragle IPA (a West Coast IPA), Lord Business (Double IPA), Safeword (Mango Habanero Double IPA), and Ella (Barrel Aged Belgian Quad & 2x FoBAB medal winner – 2015 Gold, 2016 Bronze), the Sour Cellar is the antithesis with more than 450 oak barrels and 6 foudres containing beers in various stages of production. Our Sour Cellar portfolio is extensive, including 2016 FoBAB Gold medal winner Olly (Oud Bruin), Blood & Guts (Dark Sour Ale aged on Spent Cherry Guts), Cuvée Aigre (Barrel Aged Golden Sour Ale), and Margarita Sour (Tequila Barrel Aged Key Lime Sour w/Sea Salt), just to name a few.
Our Taproom is open 7 days a week, and has 18 draft lines with a rotating selection of beers produced on premise. We invite you to join us and experience the liquid of our labors. We aren’t the hype kids. We weren’t the prom kings or queens, but what we are, is a team of extremely passionate ladies and gents, striving to make quality product and spread that Free Will Love in the “wild” as much as we can.
